Seven goals of The International Millet and Grain Forum
1. Setting up sustainable agriculture that is not dependant on chemical
pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
2. Promotion of the production of additive-free foods that are processed
without over processing.
3. Promotion of diets that are based on local culture and climate
4. Providing materials and discussion forums towards diets that nutritionally
meet the requirements of the body.
5. Creation of guidelines for ecosystem-friendly diet development.
6. Promotion of the benefits of traditional diets, with an emphasis
on staple foods.
7. Supporting national self-sufficient production of staple foods.
