WHY ARE WHOLE GRAINS SO IMPORTANT?
The ancient laws of balance, also called “yin-yang”, govern food and eating as well. “Yang” foods heat up and stress the body; meat, eggs, and salt belong to this category. “Yin” foods are known to cool down and relax the body. Fruits, vegetables, spices, coffee, and tea (mostly grown in tropical climates) are usually considered yin.

Upon discovering the dangers and environmental effects of eating animal products, many people cut them out entirely without considering the importance of maintaining yin-yang balance.

Enter whole grains – the only truly neutral foods. Natural salt, seaweeds, and fermented foods (miso, pickles, etc.) provide abundant minerals so the modern vegetarian can keep their body yin-yang in perfect balance. Enjoy the benefits of inner peace, abundant energy, spiritual power, physical fitness, and longevity through a transition to a whole grain-based vegetarian diet.
